Requirements
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned to pediatric services
- Minimum one year licensed RN experience in OR for core positions;
Minimum two years for PRN positions
- Licensed RN enrolled in Peri Op
101 program must complete successfully within 4 months

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and educational factors.
- Formulate and implement patient care plans based on assessment data, ensuring collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and nursing care standards.
- Evaluate and document patient progress towards goals, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Participate in the orientation and education of staff, students, and patients as appropriate.
- Uphold all established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while delivering care.

Compliance / Notes
- Must adhere to established policies and procedures, including documentation and patient care standards.
- Follows standard precautions to ensure safety in direct patient care environments.
