Teen Summer Program Site Lead
Hourly Rate: $18.71
Tell me more…The City of Peoria Community Center is looking for several Recreation Leaders for their Teen Summer Program. This is a part-time, entry level position working with teens (12-16). The purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service to all program patrons by exemplifying a positive attitude and exceeding the needs of patrons.
Essential Functions:- Develops and implements activities, events or program with some direction.
- Implements the distribution, care, and/or use of supplies and/or equipment for assigned programs.
- Assists with the completion and filing of accident and statistical reports, incident reports and issues pertaining to program proceedings as required.
- Performs on-site program inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with program and city safety policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings as assigned. Assist with other recreation programs, as requested.

Certifications:
- CCC/AED certification is required within two months of hire
- Must be a minimum of 21
Preferred / Desirable
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ Driver’s license is preferred
- Have at least 6 months paid or volunteer experience working with teenagers.
- Provide at least 3 references
