Position Summary:

Blackstone Country Club is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Steward to support our culinary team by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and back-of-house areas. As a vital part of the Food & Beverage team, the Steward ensures a safe, sanitary environment that enhances the overall dining experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

* Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, kitchen floors, trash receptacles, and storage areas

* Assist with basic food prep and set-up as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals

* Monitor dishwashing machines for proper chemical levels and water temperature

* Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries and supplies

* Support chefs and line cooks with cleaning duties during and after service

* Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly

* Work collaboratively with all departments to support smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications:

* Previous steward or kitchen utility experience preferred, but not required

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
