ResponsibilitiesUnderstand Orkin’s termite protection services and recommend solutions to customers. Conduct comprehensive inspections from attics to crawlspaces to identify pest issues and build trusted relationships.
You will:
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Use in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solutions for each customer.
- Achieve goals through prospecting new business and handling assigned leads.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home.
- Make recommendations based on inspection findings, address questions, and set expectations.
- Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
- Competitive earnings; company vehicle with fuel card upon route assignment.
- Average first‑year earnings from $60,000 to $100,000 (base plus commission).

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification if required (paid by the company).
- Can work independently in the field and interact with clients.
- Use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE); may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions.
