Sierra Winds, a Life Care Retirement Community in Peoria, Arizona, is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Sales Associate to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this hourly position offers eligibility for our sales commission program and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in helping older adults and their families plan for the next chapter of their lives.
The Sales Associate is responsible for generating and managing leads, conducting tours and sales presentations, and guiding prospective residents from their initial inquiry through commitment and move-in. The ideal candidate builds genuine, trusting relationships by using discovery and active listening to understand each prospect's needs, then provides personalized solutions that reflect the value of the Sierra Winds life care concept.
This role requires a thorough understanding of the community's residency options, including the Return of Capital and Traditional contract offerings, entrance and monthly fees, and financial and health qualification requirements. The Sales Associate guides prospects through the application, approval, and waiting list processes, collects deposits and signed agreements, and partners with the Resident Experience Manager to ensure a seamless transition into the community.
Success in this position is measured by consistent sales activity and results. The Sales Associate is expected to meet established activity standards, including daily follow-up calls and scheduled appointments, and to achieve monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end sales goals. The role also includes prospecting and outreach, maintaining accurate CRM records, collaborating with the sales and marketing team on strategic plans, and representing Sierra Winds at open houses, community events, and professional functions.
We are looking for a self-directed sales professional with strong closing and presentation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to hospitality. A bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least one year of sales experience are required, and CRM experience is preferred. Candidates should be available for occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours to support events and business needs.

Requirements
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of sales experience.
Skills: Demonstrated closing ability; strong presentation skills for small and large audiences; excellent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM is preferred.
Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support community events and business needs.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk for up to 75% of the workday; tour the entire campus, including pushing an individual in a wheelchair; bend, stoop, and independently lift and carry up to 25 pounds; and maintain focus in an environment with frequent interruptions.
