This is a full-time, benefitted position that will provide maintenance and repair to water mains, fire hydrants, valves, and service lines throughout the City of Peoria. If you are a hard worker that possesses extensive water distribution experience and love to contribute to a team atmosphere, this is an outstanding opportunity for you.

Shift work, weekends, holidays, standby duty, and callback duty may be required.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
* Experience and ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a water distribution system.
* Ability to operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, and large utility service trucks.
* Flexibility and drive to meet the challenges of the position
