Heavy Equipment Operator

Archer Western Construction, LLC. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for Water Mountain West in Peoria, AZ
.

Primary function is to operate a variety of heavy equipment to construct, maintain, or repair highways, heavy civil, or building type structures. Operators may assist with other tasks as needed and must operate equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

• Operates a variety of equipment to complete tasks such as clearing land, trimming backfill, and moving and/or transporting materials such as dirt, rocks, and other aggregate.
• Has knowledge of operating procedures related to loading and unloading materials.
• Performs oiling, greasing, servicing, and routine maintenance adjustments on equipment; conducts daily safety and maintenance checks; completes required paperwork and documentation.
• Awareness of potential vibration and noise when operating equipment.
• May perform other related duties as required.

• 3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
