Summary
The Field Installer plays a critical role in ensuring the precise execution of glass installations as per Kovach's standards. This role requires punctuality, attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the proactive use of the required tools. The Field Installer will consistently work to enhance their expertise within Kovach’s scope of work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- On‑site presence and reliability:
Arrive at the job site promptly at the required start time as indicated by the Supervisor. - Quality assurance:
Regularly review the work completed to ensure it meets Kovach's high‑quality standards. - Safety and communication:
Strictly adhere to Kovach's safety protocols, job site‑specific requirements, and report injuries. Immediately communicate any safety concerns to the Supervisor. - Work ethics:
Motivated to work hard, productive, and efficient on the job. - Good listener:
Able to follow simple directions and communicate effectively. - Problem identification:
Proactively identify and report potential problems to the Supervisor. - Team collaboration:
Ensure the well‑being of fellow employees on‑site, promoting a team‑first environment. - Continuous learning:
Demonstrate initiative in the tasks performed and continually seek to grow in knowledge and understanding of Kovach’s scope of work.

- Prior experience in glazing preferred.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and accurate use of a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Knowledge of safety protocols in a construction environment.

- This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, and climbing on construction sites.
