Amkor Technology Arizona is seeking an experienced Facilities Life Safety Systems Technician, responsible for inspecting, repairing, testing, and maintaining all facility life safety equipment and systems in accordance with building codes, local fire codes, and industry standards. This role supports a wide range of fire protection, fire alarm, toxic/flammable gas monitoring, and emergency response systems critical to maintaining a safe and code-compliant facility environment.
The technician supports construction, commissioning, and operations phases to ensure all controls systems meet safety codes, performance standards, and operational needs.
- Perform PMs, test, and maintain fire protection, fire alarm, and Toxic Gas Monitoring (TGM) systems according to engineering specifications and site requirements.
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on fire risers, PIVs, tampers/flow switches, hydrants, standpipes, kitchen hoods/ tools fire suppression systems, foam systems, extinguishers, and other suppression components.
- Inspect, test, and service toxic gas, flammable gas, multi-gas, oxygen, and other specialized life-safety sensors and detection system
- Submit documented inspection reports for installed fire suppression and HGM systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
