Position: Truck Driver -  Class A OTR - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

  • Earn $27.32 per hour
  • Overtime after 40 hours
  • Home daily (except NM layover nights)
You will drive:
  • Late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
  • Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort and safety
  • Equipped with inward and outward facing in‑cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all
What you will do:
  • Low touch freight – manual pallet jack operations
Schedule:
  • 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM dispatch (depending on route)
  • 40 to 55 hours per week

Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • English language proficiency is required for federal compliance (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation and drug screening.
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive by the company; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must be able to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
  • Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
