Associate, CAAS (Nonprofit Industry)

Location:

Chicago IL, Oak Brook IL, Peoria, IL, or Champaign IL office.

• Client Service: manage multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: complete financial statements, coordinate and complete account reconciliations (bank & credit card, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals) and complete complex reconciliations set up by senior staff.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other client‑requested forms.

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

The wage range for this position in Illinois is: $53,700 - $97,000.
