This is more than a traditional accounting role. You'll serve as a trusted business partner, helping guide financial strategy, improve operational performance, strengthen internal controls, and provide meaningful insights that support executive decision-making.

As Controller, you'll lead the day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations while helping drive the company's financial success. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business planning
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insight and recommendations that influence strategic decisions
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
• Oversee the general ledger, account reconciliations, chart of accounts, and month‑end close process
• Manage accounts payable operations and vendor approval processes
• Supervise accounting and inventory functions while developing and mentoring team members
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in Lean initiatives and stay current on financial and operational best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree is a plus)
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience
• Manufacturing accounting experience required
• Experience leading and developing accounting teams
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to executive leadership
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
