Balancing Clerk

Thillens Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Balancing Clerk to support our cash logistics and financial operations. In this role, you will reconcile high-volume cash, coin, and check transactions, verify deposits, research discrepancies, and prepare daily balancing reports for banking and retail clients. Working in a secure vault environment, you'll follow strict security and compliance procedures while using counting equipment and systems.

You'll collaborate with operations and armored teams to ensure accurate, timely posting and exceptional service to customers across the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily cash, coin, and check totals against system records and client documentation
• Identify, research, and resolve balancing discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly balancing and variance reports
• Operate cash counting and sorting equipment in a secure vault environment
• Follow strict security, confidentiality, and compliance procedures for all cash operations
• Verify deposits and shipments from armored routes and retail or banking clients
• Enter transactions accurately into financial and vault management systems
• Coordinate with operations and armored teams to address issues or adjustments
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and transaction histories
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area in accordance with company standards
