POSITION GOAL:
To assist in the everyday functions of a school or office while the regular staff is away.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):
Non-lnstructional:
* Performs switchboard related duties including answering phones and relaying messages.
* Assists with typing and other office related tasks as needed.
Instruction:
N/A
Safety:
* Assumes responsibility for the safety and well being of the students at all times when in their presence.
Classroom Management:
N/A
Professionalism:
* Conducts oneself in a professional manner with respect to students, staff, and parents.
* Keeps all information viewed confidential.
* Wears appropriate attire.
KNOWLEDGE AND CRITICAL
SKILLS:
* Has a High School Diploma or equivalent
* Passes a typing test at 35 wpm or more
* Is able to use computers efficiently
