Duties, Abilities, and Skills- Verifying client insurance benefits
- Billing and collection activities
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Answering, directing, and returning phone calls
- Performing client check-in and check-out duties
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date client information, including medical history and insurance benefits
- Providing information and assistance to clients and staff
- Maintain reception and entrance areas in a neat and organized fashion
- As a mandated reporter, ensure all allegations of abuse and neglect are reported as required.
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
- Complete all mandatory documentation accurately, honestly, and on time.
- To verify and ensure your payroll timecard is accurate by Monday before noon for the previous week worked.
- Need to complete all required training within 120 days of initial employment and stay in compliance with all the required annual training refreshers.
- High School Diploma or GED Medical office.
- Previous health insurance, and electronic health records (EHR) experience is preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Frequent walking and sitting. Regular reaching, grasping, and standing.
- Other physical activities related to an office environment.
- Operates general office equipment, including a multi-line phone, a fax machine, a printer, a copier, and a personal computer.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
The Front Office Associate will be the first point of contact for our organization. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and professional environment for clients, visitors, and staff. As a Front Office Associate, you will be responsible for managing the front desk, answering and directing incoming calls, greeting guests, confirming personal and insurance information, as well as handling administrative tasks.
You will also coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and provide support where needed. This role is essential in maintaining a positive image of the organization and ensuring that all visitors and clients have a pleasant experience.
