Job Summary
Great American is currently seeking an Administrative Operations Representative in our Peoria, IL office. Employees in this role are expected to be on-site five days a week.
Responsibilities- Perform routine to moderately complex policy administration tasks within established production and quality guidelines.
- Order, prepare and/or update reports and legal notices (e.g., Notice of Cancellation, non‑renewal notice).
- Set up security requests to be approved or deleted.
- Upload (parse) documents for the underwriting department.
- Utilize computerized systems for research, tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting (Excel, Word, legacy systems, internal and third‑party vendor systems).
- Share or convey routine information via telephone, e‑mail, fax, regular mail or in person to underwriters, agents, brokers, reinsurers and/or insureds while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Act as a liaison with other departments and facilitate interdepartmental communication.
- Perform additional tasks such as support, photocopying, imaging, mail, data entry, and supply functions.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of policies and procedures, products, coverages and organization.
- Comply with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
Salary Range: $40,000.00 – $48,000.00.
