RoleManager, Data – Service Events & Insights
The Global Service organization within PSLD provides world‑class support to Cat® dealers across the globe. As Manager, Data – Service Events & Insights, you will play a critical role in accelerating transformational initiatives across the enterprise, stewarding analysis, inspection, and service response data to facilitate quality insights by:
- Working with distribution, digital and industry partners to define, standardize, and improve dealer Work Order data quality.
- Leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to interpolate labor trends, parts replacement percentages, maintenance, and repair data to enhance dealer resource planning.
- Refining and governing the use of the Service Maintenance Control System (SMCS) to standardize authoring and optimize execution of dealer service events.

- Provide strategic leadership, direction, and methodology for analysis, structure, and storage of global dealer service data.
- Oversee the creation, enhancement, and stewardship of all elements of the Service Events Domain.
- Provide deep subject‑matter expertise for delivery of organizational projects & goals directly aligned with the business needs of industry partners, distribution teams, and dealers.
- Education:
4‑year college degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. - Process Management:
Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing processes. - Communicating Complex Concepts:
Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to summarize and simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. - Database Structures:
Knowledge of database structures; ability to organize and store data in specific data structures. - Information Management:
Knowledge of information architecture and management methodology; ability to collect, manage, and distribute information to enhance operational efficiency. - Repository Tools:
Knowledge of metadata and information repository tools; ability to apply appropriate tools and techniques to manage metadata.
