Senior Product Procurement Engineer

Procurement

This is a supporting role for Senior Manager Category Procurement – Earthmoving Supply Management (EMSM), working closely with EMSM leaders in NA and other regions to ensure alignment on key projects, Supplier Sourcing Matrices, KPI updates, governance, and overall consistent communication and reporting.

• Act as chief of staff to EMSM NA Cabs Senior Manager Category Procurement.
• Coordinate with other EMSM leaders to summarize status of key initiatives and create presentations for leadership teams.
• Lead procurement process alignment and benchmarking activities, driving continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Coordinate cross‑functionally with procurement, engineering, and product groups on strategic sourcing opportunities.

• Data‑driven Decision Making:
  Knowledge of the data‑driven decision‑making process and associated tools; ability to gather and analyze data to make organizational decisions aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Effective Communications:
  Understanding of communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas and information.
• Interpersonal Relationships:
  Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Cost‑Benefit Analysis:
  Knowledge of principles and tools used in cost‑benefit analysis; ability to analyze purpose and scope of projects in terms of cost and benefit.
• Strategic Sourcing:
  Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, technologies, and processes; ability to analyze, improve, and re‑evaluate procurement processes continuously.
• Supply Chain Management:
  Knowledge of supply chain functions, principles, and techniques; ability to develop and implement strategies and tools for controlling end‑to‑end processes.

• Strong PowerPoint and PowerBI skills.
• Knowledge of multiple levels of business.
• Data analytics capabilities.
• Ability to act with a sense of urgency and build communications for various levels of leadership.
