Responsibilities

As a Pathway Intern, you will be an active member of a professional team. Your daily tasks will be designed to build your skills and confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Actively participate in all assigned on-the-job and classroom-based training to develop technical and professional skills.
  • Work alongside experienced mentors and team members to complete real-world projects and tasks.
  • Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and safety protocols in a professional work environment.
  • Develop critical soft skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management.
  • Track progress toward learning goals and collaborate with program staff to ensure a successful training experience.
  • Contribute positively to the team environment and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
Qualifications

  • Ages 16-24 or an adult with barriers to employment.
  • A strong work ethic and a dependable, positive attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and accept constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to completing the full term of the apprenticeship program.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is a plus but not required.
  • A demonstrated interest in one of our target industries (e.g., skilled trades, healthcare, IT, manufacturing).
