A great Civil Engineering and Land Development firm in the Lisle area needs a Construction Manager to represent the Owner on residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
Responsibilities- Act as Owner's Rep: enforce contracts, manage risk, drive accountability
- Lead pre-construction and OAC meetings: coordinate engineers, architects, and GCs
- Conduct site observations and coordinate issue resolution with GC and design team
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and the bidding process
- Coordinate site/civil and vertical interface through project turnover
- Bachelor's degree (preferred, flexible for direct experience/fit)
- 5+ years of construction management experience, client-side preferred (Owner's Rep, developer, or consulting CM)
- Direct accountability for budget, schedule, contracts, and closeout
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders as a single point of contact
- Valid driver's license, site walks required
