KRB Development has been building across the Phoenix metro for over 20 years. We specialize in commercial design-build, tenant improvements, and ground-up construction projects ranging from $200K to $4M+. We operate BES Electric in-house, giving our team a genuine competitive edge in pricing, scheduling, and delivery.
We run a tight, transparent operation: daily field documentation through Company Cam, live scheduling, and full project management via Job Tread. We're growing and we want the right person to grow with us.
The OpportunityThis is not a desk job. We're looking for a senior professional who brings real Phoenix-market relationships, builds estimates that win, manages projects from award through closeout, and takes full ownership of their work.
The commission structure is intentionally aggressive. We want this person to earn well above their base. If you have the relationships and the skill, this role is built for you to make serious money.
Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $50,000 $ 60,000 (negotiable based on experience and book of business)
Uncapped Commission on all work you originate and close realistic total comp of $,000+

What You'll Do Business Development- Leverage your existing Phoenix-market network brokers, property managers, architects, owners to generate new project opportunities
- Represent KRB at industry events, pre-bid walks, and client meetings
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with repeat clients and referral sources
- Collaborate directly with ownership on pipeline strategy and target markets
- Perform complete quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial TI, ground-up, and residential projects
- Solicit, level, and award subcontractor bids across all applicable trades
- Coordinate with BES Electric (in-house) for integrated electrical scope and pricing
- Prepare polished, competitive bid packages and proposals through Job Tread
- Maintain current labor rates, material pricing, and subcontractor relationships
- Own your projects from pre-construction through closeout schedule, budget, subs, and client communication
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily logs via Job Tread and Company Cam Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with KRB field superintendents
- Deliver on time, on budget, and to KRB's standard of quality and integrity
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating, project management, or both
- An established network of contacts in the Phoenix / Maricopa County commercial construction market
- Proven track record of developing client relationships and winning work
- Proficiency with construction estimating and PM software Job Tread experience strongly
- Ability to read full construction document sets and manage multi-trade scopes
- Strong written and verbal communication you'll interface directly with clients and ownership
- Self-directed, organized, and accountable this role owns its desk
Electrical estimating experience highly valued given our in-house company BES Electric
Existing relationships with Phoenix metro commercial real estate community
Experience with Company Cam for field documentation
Design-build project delivery background
