As a Travel Consultant, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. What You’ll Do- Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)
- Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services
- Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations
- Use various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), including Sabre, Apollo, Galileo and Amadeus. Training may be provided
- Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
- Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests
- Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels

- 5 years of Sabre GDS experience
- Travel experience should include corporation, international experience. If the candidate’s experience is only in ticket counter or leisure travel, the client is not interested in that candidate.
- Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs
- Native GDS expertise Sabre
- Professional communication (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information
- Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
- Resolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplier
- Teamwork and openness to feedback
- Five consecutive working days with two consecutive days off (single weekend off rotation).
- Shifts fall between 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM EST, including examples such as:
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST
- 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM EST
- 2:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
- Availability for 2nd and 3rd shift is required.
- Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is required. Specific weekend coverage details will be discussed during the interview process.
- Candidates who are unable to work weekends should not apply.
- Internet only, no phone line is needed (GBT uses a VoIP product that works over your internet for making and receiving phone calls)
- Speed at least 10 m download × 2 m upload; please ask for the provider’s "starter" speed. It usually meets the requirement. If it doesn’t, please ask for their first package that meets both the download and upload requirements.
- Cable, DSL or Fiber connection to residence (no fixed wireless, satellite or cell based services)
- Ethernet Connection required. Your GBT applications do not work properly using Wi‑Fi. You must be able to connect directly to your modem.

Computer base, dual monitors, wireless keyboard & Mouse, wired headset, yubikey nano. - Work Environment:
Please ensure the resource has a dedicated, quiet workspace to allow them to have minimal interruptions. This is a client facing role which means they must be fully dedicated while on shift.
