Position: Customer Service Representative 4

Job Description

Customer Service Representative 4, Peoria, IL. On‑site, 40 hrs/week, Monday‑Friday, 24‑month term. No overtime. Holidays and shutdowns are not paid. Pay range: $22‑$24.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Approve resolution of customer service or billing complaints, including merchandise exchanges, refunds, and bill adjustments.
  • Act as escalation point for clients and refer unresolved grievances to designated departments.
  • Review, monitor, and audit records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
  • Assess validity of complaints by obtaining and examining all relevant information.
  • Solicit sale of new or additional services or products.
  • Add daily numbers and new cardholders to summaries, submit terminations, and add files to bank summaries.
  • Answer emails about aged expenses and procurement card and travel card questions.
  • Assist with leave of absences and send email communications to employees of all levels.
  • Maintain an office environment, working on‑site five days per week.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • 8–10 years of customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer‑service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and document customer information accurately.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to provide support and performance feedback.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and V‑lookup.
  • Experience with SAP Concur, credit‑card administration, and expense‑book reconciliation.
  • Bookkeeping/accounting background is a plus.
