Dentist Part Time in Peoria, IL Private Office

Overview

We are seeking a skilled dentist to join our client's private practice in Peoria, IL. This is a part time opportunity for Fridays. The office is busy and operates on a fee-for-service (FFS) and PPO model with an amazing team and state of the art equipment, including digital x-rays, scanners and a CBCT. The owner does not work on Fridays, so the dentist should be comfortable practicing independently.

The practice reports a typical daily production exceeding $5K. This description reflects current expectations for a private, reputable practice with a strong patient base.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental issues accurately.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques during all procedures.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach for efficient patient care.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
• Keep accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care.

• Experience placing and restoring implants is a plus but not required
• Experience doing molar endodontic procedures is a plus but not required
