Job SummaryThe Dental Laboratory Full Technician is responsible for fabricating full and partial dentures, including setting teeth, waxing, bending wire, processing, finishing, and repairing removable prosthetics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to producing quality dental restorations while maintaining laboratory safety and OSHA compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate full and partial dentures from start to finish
- Set denture teeth and perform wax-ups
- Bend wire for removable prosthetics
- Process, finish, and polish dentures
- Complete denture relines and repairs
- Fabricate occlusal rims and custom trays
- Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and turnaround times
- Serve as Associate Lab Manager when needed in the manager's absence
- Follow OSHA guidelines and laboratory safety procedures
- Cross-train in all areas of the dental laboratory
- Collaborate with laboratory teammates to complete cases efficiently
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional experience fabricating dentures from start to finish
- Ability to successfully complete a hands-on bench assessment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented laboratory environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during normal laboratory business hours
- Experience with full and partial removable prosthetics
- Knowledge of dental laboratory safety standards and OSHA compliance
