C.T. Gabbert Remodeling and Construction Inc. of Central Illinois is a professional design build home remodeling company based in Peoria, IL and servicing all of Central IL. Owner Chuck Gabbert started the company in 1978, and it has been family owned and operated ever since.
Current OpeningsWe are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time CAD Designer.
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Peoria, IL
Primary architectural drafter for our company
Attend preliminary meetings with our clients to understand the project specifics and scope of work.
Work with construction team to establish a time line & budget for design
Use design software to produce 2D and/or 3D designs, depending on the complexity of the project
Research materials in large databases to identify the best materials for modeling.
Get feedback from client and construction managers and revise designs as needed
Knowledge of how to measure, using a tape measure or laser measurer for accurate dimensions
Order materials AND tracking those orders once the project is sold.
Know Residential CAD program, preferably Chief Architect
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in design, architecture, construction engineering or similar field is preferred
Minimum 2 years of work experience in architecture design
Advanced knowledge of architecture design software, such as Chief Architect Premier, Construction Drawings, 20/20, Sketch Up
Stellar attention to detail, teamwork abilities, communication skills, and organizational skills.
Must work in our office, 5 days per week. This is NOT a remote position
$18-$25 /hour

– Answer incoming calls with professionalism and warmth.
Lead our social media + digital presence
– Create, schedule, and monitor content across all platforms.
– Manage our company website with updates, photos, blogs, and more.
Capture and create compelling visuals
– Take high-quality photos and videos of job sites, projects, and events.
– Edit content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, etc.) and Cap Cut.
Dream up and implement creative marketing ideas
– From fun campaigns to seasonal promotions—we love thinking outside the box!
Support our trade show + event efforts
– Help coordinate displays, materials, and on-site details.
Jump in wherever needed
– We're a small team, so flexibility and a positive attitude are key. No two days will look the same!

Confident managing social media content, digital assets, and website updates
