Overview
OSF Health Care Cancer Institute is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Neuro Oncologist. Join a world leading group in cancer care. Work at a high-volume center with specialized physicians including neurosurgical oncology, radiation oncology, neuropathology/radiology and residencies in both neurology and neurosurgery. Academics promoted with multi-disciplinary tumor board, teaching opportunities (medical students/residents/fellows), and faculty cross-appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Basic and translational research conducted in collaboration with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria Molecular Neuro-oncology laboratory. OSF Health Care Saint Francis Medical Center is the only Illinois hospital with both an iMRI and a Gamma Knife in the same location. Located on the medical campus, a brand new OSF Health Care Cancer Institute to be completed January 2024.

- Serve as a Neuro-Oncologist in a high-volume cancer care setting with multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Collaborate with neurosurgical oncology, radiation oncology, neuropathology/radiology and residency programs (neurology and neurosurgery).
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board activities and teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Pursue basic and translational research in collaboration with the Molecular Neuro-oncology laboratory in Peoria.
- Engage with institutional resources such as iMRI, Gamma Knife, and proton beam capabilities as part of the program.
- Contribute to academic activities and potential cross-appointments with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.

- Full-time clinical base salary range: $314,137 – $450,000. (

Qualifications- Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
- Licensed to prescribe narcotics where applicable (DEA).
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty; maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
- Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
- Meets OSF professional malpractice and liability coverage qualifications.
