Overview
- OSF Cardiovascular Institute, part of OSF Health Care, seeks a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join their team
- OSF Health Care consists of thirteen hospitals and medical centers, one long-term facility and two colleges of nursing. The cardiovascular service line consists of over 55 cardiologists and surgeons. You will join a progressive practice that will be busy from day one with a primary care referral base of 300+ providers.
- We have electrophysiology labs with dedicated EP staff who are familiar with performing all devices, Watchman, complex ablations including epicardial VT ablation as well as Impella devices if needed.
- OSF Medical Center is a 650-bed hospital with approximately 12 feeder hospitals and a catchment area of 2 million patients. Volume is strong, with waiting periods of several months for an atrial fibrillation ablation.

- We are actively involved in medical education with a general cardiology fellowship. Fellows assist with weekday call 1 to 2 times a month and weekend call every 4-5 weeks.

- Full-time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $405,000-$460,000
- Note:
Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by factors including experience, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Doctorate.
Licenses/Certifications:
Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
