The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a Pediatric & Fetal Echocardiology faculty member to work primarily at OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois (CHOI). The candidate must hold an MD/DO degree, be board certified or board eligible in pediatric cardiology, hold or be eligible for an Illinois physician license, and have completed residency and fellowship training with extensive experience in pediatric, fetal and congenital echocardiography.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inpatient, outpatient patient care and echocardiography
- Satellite clinic service in the surrounding region
- On‑call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology
- Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Academic activities including original research and quality improvement
- Imaging quality improvement for echocardiography
- MD/DO or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for licensure in Illinois
- BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology
- 3 years pediatric residency / 3 years pediatric cardiology fellowship (or equivalent)
- Significant experience or formal training in Pediatric & Fetal Echocardiography
- Salary: $230,000 – $313,933 per year (yearly salary)
