Job Summary
The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI) seeks an Associate Medical Director/Pediatric Hematologist (Ped Hem) to join their established and industry-leading team in Peoria, Illinois (IL). We are seeking a like-minded individual who is focused on providing integrated, patient-focused, family-oriented, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations- Associate Medical Director and clinical role
- 2 days of clinic per week
- 2 days dedicated to research, supported by an experienced research team with plenty of opportunities to publish
- Dedicated administrative time for Associate Medical Director duties
- Adult and Pediatric Hematology; no Oncology, with option to focus on hemostasis and thrombosis or vascular anomalies – variety of patients seen
- Mentoring available to increase comfort with seeing both adult and pediatric patients
- Ability to work with medical students and residents during rotations
- Competitive base salary
- Sign-on of $50,000
- Negotiable annual student loan support and PSLF eligible site
