Radiation Oncologist - Flexible Ongoing Assignment

Secure a rewarding Radiation Oncology assignment in Illinois where you can balance clinical excellence with a flexible, manageable schedule. This ongoing need offers a streamlined path to start.

• Flexible schedule with only 5-10 shifts needed per month.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical environments.
• Collaborative team including 2 RNs, 5 therapists, and physics support.
• Focus on adult patient populations.
• Average daily census of 35-50 patients currently on treatment.

Schedule

• Short-term or ongoing coverage options still available.
• Standard daytime hours with some remote weeknight call.
• Block scheduling or rotating shifts based on your availability.
• No long-term commitment required to begin providing coverage.

Procedures and Cases

• Clinical oversight for 3D Treatment and IMRT.
• SBRT and SRS treatment management.
• Performance of simulations, consults, and OTVs.
• Coordination of some inpatient consultations.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible within 5 years in Radiation Oncology.
• Active Illinois medical license required.
• Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience.
• Current DEA certification.

Credentialing Requirements

• Expedited processing timeframe of 60-90 days.
• Comprehensive credentialing support provided by our internal team.
• Role is open to IMLC Physicians for streamlined state licensure.
