**** Summary
* * The Teaching and Learning Center Manager is primarily responsible for planning, delivering, evaluating, and assessing training programs and/or other major projects that contribute significantly to faculty development, renewal, and improvement.
** Compensation for the Manager
- Teaching & Learning Excellence is $67,350.40 -$77,459.20 annually.

**** Essential Functions

** Develop, coordinate, and/or facilitate faculty development activities, including workshops, trainings, or other development events.
* Direct and oversee the daily operations of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence.
* Manage the Teaching and Learning Excellence staff, including hiring, training, supervision, and performance management.
* Maintain and update the department’s operational plan by identifying and recommending changes, updates, and resources needed to continually support the college's strategic plan of faculty success.
* Build and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and administrators to identify and provide services, resources, and assistance.
* Manage college-level memberships and relevant software agreements housed in the department.
* Collaborate with Information Technology and Enterprise Services to manage relevant projects.
* Provide direction on the approach and deployment of the LMS, including the support of quality online course designs.
* Implement strategies to enhance the learning experiences of students with new and developing technology-enhanced initiatives such as Open Educational Resources (OER).
* Collaborate with the Library to provide educational programs related to intellectual property, copyright, and Creative Commons licensing.
* Manage the departmental budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and meet operational goals.
* Develop, administer, and analyze development event evaluations and assessments. Co-Chair the
* Employee Experience and Growth Committee
* and collaborate with members to assess and determine the development needs of employees.
* Represent the department on committees related to teaching and learning and serve on relevant statewide initiatives.
* Remain current in the field by maintaining contact with other institutions and participating in professional development opportunities.

** Minimum Qualifications

** Master’s Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field.
* Two or more years of classroom teaching.
* Experience deploying and managing training.
* Knowledge of online course design standards such as Quality Matters or Universal Design for Learning.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
* Experience in project management or implementation.
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Strong presentation skills.
