Project Manager, Material Review – Marketing Operations
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Material Review (Marketing Operations) to support the end-to-end review, approval, and lifecycle management of promotional and non‑promotional materials in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical environment.
This role is critical to ensuring seamless collaboration across Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, and external agency partners while maintaining compliance with MLR policies and timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate cross‑functional review and approval of:
- Advertising materials
- Promotional materials
- Sales training materials
- Promotional labeling materials
- Manage cross‑functional stakeholders and advertising agencies
- Communicate material status clearly and consistently to all partners
- Provide tactical project management and timeline oversight through the Material Review Process (MRP)
- Support, consult, and train team members responsible for uploading and approving materials within MRP systems
- Ensure timely reviews by U.S. Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, and other key stakeholders
- Identify process improvements and share lessons learned across teams
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Science, Education, Communications
, or a related field - Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Understanding of the MLR process
, policies, and review systems - Experience working with print and digital marketing materials
- Familiarity with Veeva Promo Mats or similar review platforms
- Working knowledge of:
- Adobe Acrobat
- MS Word, Excel, Power Point
- Smartsheets
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and systems
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to forecast, prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience identifying and applying process improvements and lessons learned
- Strong analytical, measurement, and reporting capabilities
- Adaptability in a fast‑changing, regulated environment
- High‑impact role within Marketing Operations
- Exposure to cross‑functional leadership and agency collaboration
