5th Grade Teacher

Duties

Norwood Elementary is looking for a fifth grade teacher for the  school year. The person hired will be part of a 5 - 8 building. You must be able to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a primary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The ideal candidate will have a teacher certification in elementary education.

Norwood Elementary serves around 150 students on the border of Peoria, IL, and rural Illinois. We are looking for a motivated teacher that will be the right fit for our students. If you want to do great things in the field of teaching, please apply as we are looking for you.

Qualifications

Certified Teacher - IL PEL or able to get an Illinois Professional Educator License. ELA &/or Social Studies Endorsement preferred, but not required.
