Summer School Security - Temporary Positions

VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill Temporary Security positions for the 2026 Summer School program. (Location to be determined.)

Orientation: June 1, 2026

Dates: June 2, 2026 through June 30, 2026 No Classes on June 19, 2026

Hours: 07:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Mon & Fri)

• Monitors all points of entry
• Check student activity in and around building
• Monitor hallways, restrooms, cafeteria, LMC, Auditorium and common areas
• Become knowledgeable of the Student-Parent Handbook regarding school policies
• Write statements and/or referrals for rule violations
• Maintain a daily log that identifies all incidents and violations that occur
• Completes additional duties as required by the administration
• Reports to the RHS Summer School administrator

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good character and health (physical and negative TB test required)
• Work experience at the high school level (preferred)
• Must be able to deal with verbal confrontation
• Communicates well with the public

PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE: Salary is in accordance with the Security Salary Schedule.
