Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or Master's/Doctoral degree in Special Education/ Teaching Students with Special Needs
• Must hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching Certificate with special education endorsement.

Responsibilities As a special education teacher in our district, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, guardians, and other members of the educational team.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, assistive techniques, and accommodations to support student learning.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure student growth and achievement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers to promote the inclusion of students with special needs in the general education setting.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes acceptance and understanding among all students.
