Youth Services Specialist

Overview

Fondulac District Library is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and people-oriented person to work with children, caregivers, and library staff in a community-focused environment. Duties include providing professional research and readers advisory services, creating and implementing library programs, leading story times, and maintaining youth collections.

• Provide professional research and readers advisory services.
• Create and implement innovative library programs.
• Lead story times and engage with children and caregivers.
• Maintain and develop youth collections.
• Build rapport with library team members in a collaborative environment.

• Detail-oriented with initiative and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Collection development experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with children and families is preferred.

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week; day, evening, and weekend work, including Sundays (September – May).
• Hourly range:
  Starting $19.44–$22.38 per hour. Dependent on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
