Our client is seeking an Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer to develop engaging digital learning experiences that support enterprise training initiatives. This role will partner with subject matter experts to transform existing content into interactive eLearning modules for internal learners. The ideal candidate has experience with instructional design, eLearning authoring tools, and learning management systems, along with a strong eye for visual design.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain engaging eLearning courses using Articulate 360/Rise 360
, Storyline, Captivate, or similar authoring tools. - Partner with subject matter experts to translate technical and business content into effective digital learning experiences.
- Create visually engaging learning materials, graphics, job aids, and other instructional assets.
- Publish and maintain learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Workday Learning or a similar platform.
- Apply instructional design best practices to create effective, learner-centered training solutions.
Review, update, and enhance existing training materials as business needs evolve. - Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in Instructional Design
, eLearning Development
, Learning Experience Design (LXD), or Training Content Development. - Experience with Articulate 360/Rise 360 preferred;
Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools are also acceptable. - Experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Strong visual design skills with the ability to create engaging digital learning content.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to gather requirements and develop training materials.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Portfolio demonstrating eLearning or instructional design work (confidential or redacted samples are acceptable).
- Experience supporting corporate learning, technology training, or enterprise learning initiatives.
- Industry experience is not required.
- Open to both junior candidates with strong portfolios and experienced professionals within budget.
- Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Peoria, IL.
- The interview process includes an initial skills and portfolio review followed by a final panel interview.
