They are seeking a Solar O&M Technician to lead field operations and asset maintenance across the greater Chicago area. In this role, you will be the primary technical lead on the ground, responsible for the troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and preventative maintenance of commercial rooftop & ground mount solar arrays. You will ensure maximum system uptime and performance through expert-level electrical work and site inspections, serving as a vital technical resource for a company that prioritizes the long-term reliability of its solar fleet.

Theideal candidate should have the following
- 3+ years of O&M experience with C&I, Community or Utility scale solar projects
- A proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex issues within solar inverter systems and monitoring hardware
- The ability to work independently in the field while maintaining clear communication with remote asset management teams
- A clean driving record and the ability to operate a company-provided service vehicle throughout the Chicago region
- Extensive technical knowledge of medium and high-voltage electrical systems as they relate to solar infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform detailed site audits and performance reporting
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional conduct at all times
