Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Demonstrator/Instructor to provide hands‑on equipment demonstrations, operator training, and application instruction for heavy construction and mining equipment. This role supports product education, customer engagement, and field evaluations by delivering high-quality demonstrations at training facilities and customer locations. The ideal candidate has extensive heavy equipment operating experience, strong communication skills, a safety‑first mindset, and the ability to train operators while collaborating with engineering, product, and customer teams.
This is a full‑time, onsite position with occasional domestic and international travel.
- Conduct hands‑on demonstrations and operator/application training for heavy construction and mining equipment.
- Deliver product training at company training facilities and customer sites.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, dealers, and customers.
- Stay current on existing equipment, new product releases, and emerging technologies.
- Provide operational feedback on new products to engineering and product development teams.
- Recommend appropriate machine models and fleet configurations based on customer applications.
- Complete machine work orders to support fleet service planning and equipment readiness.
- Perform basic fleet maintenance activities, including cleaning, fueling, inspections, and monthly reporting.
- Assist with training fellow instructors and operators on equipment capabilities and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during machine performance studies and field/site evaluations.
- Operate and become certified on multiple families of heavy equipment.
- Ensure all demonstrations and training activities are conducted safely and professionally.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer and business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience operating heavy construction and/or mining equipment.
- Extensive hands‑on experience operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency across multiple equipment families.
- Basic computer proficiency, including:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Power Point
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a CDL within 12 months of hire.
