We are looking for a full-time Structures Engineer III to join the team!
Responsibilities- Assist in plan preparation, design and quantity calculations, and other related tasks for transportation related structural projects
- Assist with bridge inspections
- The selected candidate will collaborate with other engineers and technicians under the supervision of a Structural Project Engineer
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from accredited school. Masters preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience
- IL or IN Professional Engineer license (PE); SE a plus
- Good technical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects
- Working knowledge of structural analysis software
- Bridge inspection experience, including 80-hour NHI course, preferred
