This role is not just executing tests—it’s owning the end-to-end component validation for legacy electronics and making sure the organization can keep products reliable even as parts age out or suppliers change. The role calls for leading validation under the legacy team, coordinating with in-house and external labs for EMC, vibration, and other hardware testing, and representing validation results in NPI review meetings so stakeholders can make confident release decisions.
The role focuses on back-to-back validation of older vs. newer parts
, following guidelines/standards along with other teams, and capturing automation opportunities using scripts matches how Legacy team like to drive continuous improvement, reduce cycle time, improve coverage, and lower lifecycle risk.
- Working with suppliers and following up on deliverables
- Work with leads and help with validation tasks
- Show ownership of the validation and impact at systems level
- Participating in project discussions
- Need to work with team of 9 people in US and 13 people in India and China
- Legacy Engineering is responsible for sustainment, compliance, validation, supplier support, and obsolescence management of legacy electronic and electrical systems across Client products.

Education & Experience Required- Years of experience: 4 years
- Degree requirement: Bachelors minimum
- Masters with 2 + years
