Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

If you like the television show “This Old House,” this role is for you. We are recruiting a Project Engineer for a Specialty Restoration Contractor that is highly regarded and expert in historical renovations, structural strengthening, façade repairs and waterproofing of commercial structures. This will be a challenging role where you will learn a lot and add valuable skills very quickly.

• Manage and oversee multiple concrete restoration projects from inception to completion.
• Assist with project estimating, bidding, and client proposals.
• Coordinate with field crews (up to 10 during peak season), shop, and office staff to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct site visits for quality checks, client meetings, and project team coordination.
• Track project quantities, schedules, and costs; maintain accurate documentation.
• Learn and apply company processes quickly; demonstrate initiative and reliability.
• Support or lead operational tasks as assigned, including problem-solving and resource allocation.
• Engage in both commercial and industrial project segments, including parking garages, expansion joints, joint sealant, deck membranes, and heavy shoring.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1 - 2 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager in Construction IS REQUIRED.
• Strong experience in Blueprint-reading, Construction Software and MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
