Civil Engineer - Municipal

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Municipal Group in one of the following locations:
Normal, or Peoria, IL.

• Planning, design, permitting, funding, and construction of municipal projects
• Mentor staff and collaborate with rest of Civil team/offices
• Maintain relationships with state and local authorities.
• Communicate with Clients regarding current and future projects
• Attend City staff and council/board meetings as necessary
• Assist with Client development and business development efforts

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 8 - 15 years of municipal, water, wastewater engineering experience
• Professional Engineer - PE License
• Team player that can manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Sanitary sewer and water main design experience
• Experience working with local and state government organizations
• Familiar with Illinois EPA permitting and funding application processes

Salary Range: min – max (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
