Overview

Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Peoria IL or Tucson AZ

Visa: Any Visa

Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.

• Electrical component/system design (e.g., determine amperage requirements, suitable lug types)
• Electrical Integration Engineer
• Designing electrical layouts for off-highway machines
• Electrical harness design experience, understanding and hands-on experience with electrical schematics
• Experience with Creo Schematics is an additional benefit
• Completing concept and finalizing electrical designs of mining & construction product electrical integration
• Collaborating with product group, other design teams, suppliers and manufacturing engineers to deliver optimized designs for functionality and manufacturability
• Development of requirements and specifications for electrical equipment to support the mechanical demands for power, modularity, and footprint
• System integration of specified components to develop a comprehensive power distribution network
• Creation of documentation to allow purchase and construction of machine electrical systems
• Design/check/release of new drawings and documentation
• Keeping up to date on new technologies and/or developing new technologies

Education Requirement: Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Required - Electrical, or equivalent.

Good in electrical component and routing design and aware of design consequences. A majority of the work involves routing to meet all requirements, followed by overseeing the process of creating the related detailed drawings and releasing the drawings for production implementation.

• Design experience of minimum 5 years in the below tools
• Creo
• Customization of electrical drawings is an added advantage
