The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer is responsible for validating embedded control software using real-time hardware simulation environments. This role focuses on integrating physical ECUs, sensors, and actuators with simulation models to ensure system-level performance, reliability, and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, configure, and maintain HIL test benches using dSPACE, OPAL, or equivalent platforms.
- Design and execute test plans, regression suites, and validation strategies using real-time simulation.
- Integrate plant models, ECUs, and I/O systems to simulate real-world conditions.
- Develop automated test scripts using Python, MATLAB, or C/C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
