Position: Process Engineer
Location: Peoria, IL
Duration: 12 Months Contract (High possibility of extension due to the project need)
Job Duties /Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:- Review project priorities, emails, and open action items
- Coordinate with operations, quality, and maintenance on active issues
- Analyze metallurgical or mechanical data (tests, drawings, equipment performance)
- Provide shop‑floor or manufacturing support and troubleshooting
- Document decisions, update project trackers, and communicate next steps
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering discipline
- Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or industrial equipment environments
- Working knowledge of metallurgical processes and mechanical systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Willing to take 2 year degree with 7+ years of experience
- Willing to take Masters with 3+ years experience

- Manufacturing process understanding
- Supplier and contractor coordination
- Clear technical communication and documentation
- Understand Heat Treat equipment
