Electrical Designer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer with 5–7 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the off-highway, heavy equipment, construction, mining, agricultural, automotive, or industrial equipment industries.

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on design specifications.
• Develop 3D models of electrical enclosures, brackets, trays, installations, and other electrical components.
• Design and document electrical harnesses and cable routing.
• Translate sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate 2D and 3D drawings.
• Create flattened production drawings with 2D-to-3D association.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to ensure proper electrical fitment and installation.
• Identify drawing issues and work with Design Engineers to clarify design intent and resolve issues.
• Modify and revise drawings based on design changes and engineering feedback.
• Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation.
• Work closely with offshore engineering teams to support design activities.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams.

• 5–7 years of electrical design experience.
• Experience in off-highway / heavy equipment design is highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Solid Works

• Strong experience with AutoCAD Electrical

• Experience with electrical harness and cable routing.
• Experience creating 3D models of enclosures, brackets, trays, and electrical installations.
• Strong knowledge of 2D production drawings and 2D-to-3D association.
• Experience creating BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Understanding of electrical fitment and equipment installation.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with offshore engineering teams.
• Diploma / B.E. /
  
  B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
