** What You Will Do
** The Caterpillar
** Accelerated Leadership Development Program
** is designed to provide experienced professionals with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience that enables them to make a real-world impact.  MIT LGO graduates who join Caterpillar, a proud LGO partner company, will have the opportunity to complete a multi-phase program that includes:
* Participant choice of three rotational assignments that include but are not limited to the following areas:
* New Technology Validation
* Autonomy Design
* Product Electrification
* Product Value Chain Design
* Strategic Procurement
* Lean Innovation
* Manufacturing Operations
* Field Assignment (Mine Site Autonomy Deployment or Services Growth)
* Mentorship by a senior Caterpillar Executive
* Intentional Leadership Development & Experiential Learning Opportunities.
* 12–18 month assignment

** In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your unique skills and experiences. Below are some of the most critical skills.
* Analytical skills, initiating ideas, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
* Knowledge of engineering principles, theory, and engineering experience gained through projects, internships, and/or relevant work experiences
* Fundamental understanding of engineering for a manufacturing environment, ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention
* Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to quickly gain, and effectively apply new skills & knowledge
* Success in collaborating with others of diverse cultures, interpersonal styles, and abilities
* Strong written, and verbal communication skills
* Participate in, and build on our inclusive, constructive, and productive work environment
* Ensure all team member’s contributions are recognized and valued
** Degree Requirements:
*** Currently attending a 2-year accredited university/college MBA program and have completed an Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science Degree
** Other Requirements:
*** Expected graduation by August 2027
* Must be willing to travel and relocate domestically

Experience:

** Participation in campus design or competition teams, or similar hands-on technical projects.
* ** Leadership

Skills:

** Demonstrated leadership in team settings or project management roles.
* ** Industry Exposure:
** Previous technical internship, co-op, or other relevant professional experience.

** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
