- Support mechanical component development, manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier engineering activities.
- Collaborate with global suppliers, engineering, sourcing, procurement, and cross-functional teams.
- Support supplier selection, technical evaluations, component sourcing, and cost/value improvement initiatives.
- Apply knowledge of machining, casting, forging, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, component requirements, and supplier designs.
- Support projects from requirements and design through manufacturing, testing, validation, and implementation.
- Analyze engineering and business data and communicate risks, findings, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Support NPI, supplier development, cost reduction, and continuous improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience working with suppliers, sourcing, supply chain, or procurement teams.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical component manufacturing processes.
- Experience in product/component development and cross-functional engineering projects.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience working with global suppliers.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems/components, especially hydraulic cylinders.
- Creo/CAD and engineering drawing experience.
- Experience with NPI, value engineering, and product cost reduction.
- Experience working with supplier-designed components.
